Task/Problem Overview

This document will cover where reorder points and reorder quantities are located in Savance Enterprises. It will also cover how to set user define quantities or to let the system configure these quantities.

Reorder Point/Reorder Quantity

Reorder Point and Reorder Quantity can be found in a few different places, most notably in the Critical Purchasing Screen as well as the RFQ/PO itself. This value can be set per item manually by a purchasing agent or automatically based on usage and demand by the software. See below for where to find the value.

• Critical Purchasing Screen. Go to Purchasing > Create Critical Purchase Order

  

• RFQ/PO (NOTE: Where the ROP/ROQ cells fall in the RFQ/PO grid is customizable per user.)

  

If you need to change the ROP/ROQ or any other purchasing metrics like lead time or target fill rate on a per-item basis.

Go to Inventory -> Inventory Manager -> Item Manager -> Search for the item -> Warehouse Tab -> Inventory Control

From here you will be able to set user values by typing the preferred value in the applicable cell and unchecking the “S” checkbox to set it as a user-defined value
